Biography

It all started in Rome with the lucky encounter of four musicians united by common Sicilian origins and by the same passion for the art and popular traditions of their land.Since our debut it seemed that the need to express ourselves through our original languages, met a vision of Sicily close to a myth, the Sicily of the literary places of memories.

Nowadays we realise that the construction we believed to be so intimate and private met an imaginary vision shared by many islanders, both in Sicily and in the continent. In January 2007 our first record was published by Finesterre.

In September 2007 Andrea Piccioni, drums, marranzano tambourine and vocal, joined the group. We are honoured to have him with us.
